Joy Chen 陈愉
For two decades, Joy Chen 陈愉 has been a global leader in diversity and workforce development.
Twenty years ago, she was appointed as Deputy Mayor of Los Angeles, a role she used to expand access to expand access for all Angelenos to the education and skills training they need to compete in the jobs being created now.
Following that, she served as an executive search consultant and coach with global executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles, serving Fortune 500 companies across North America, Europe and Asia.
For the past decade, Joy split her time between the U.S. and China, where she has been helping companies there to grow their Chinese talent into global leaders.
Her Diversity, Equity and Inclusion certificate is from Cornell University.
